Science behind A FIt body

Regarding weight loss FitSciGuru says – to lose weight, you have to burn more than you eat.

This can be done either through diet or exercise. It’s a bit of an oversimplification that you can choose to either burn your calories or reduce their intake.

If you manage diet alone, whether it’s because you reduce your carbohydrate intake and increase your protein consumption, or you stop drinking alcohol, as long as there’s a deficit, you will see short-term weight loss.

If you do exercise and not control your diet you would see an increase in muscle tone and you might see a small reduction in weight, but you can’t exercise past a bad diet.

A combination of healthy eating, cardio and resistance training gives you results as fast as in the first week. If you maintain this balance your fitness and body will improve considerably by week four. Your clothes will fit better, your posture will be better and you’ll walk taller.

“Whether your metabolism is slow or fast, you can lose FAT if you know the science behind it”

Diet and resistance training combination is the best combination

because this builds lean muscle tissue and that  what will create the most change in your body

Weight Loss Science

When we think about losing weight, the assumption is we’ll be losing fat, but weight loss is more complicated than that, because not all weight loss is necessarily fat loss.

When we reduce calories, our bodies don’t exclusively turn to burning excess fat for fuel.

So at FitSciGuru, we prefer to focus on the question “how much fat can I lose?” rather than the question “how much weight can I lose?”.

We optimize for fat loss.

Diet and Nutrition Science

Eating a healthy balanced diet accompanied by regular exercise is essential in maintaining physical and mental health and well-being. Not only are these effective in preventing excess weight gain or in maintaining weight loss, but healthier lifestyles are also associated with improved sleep and mood.

People get confused about some of the foundational nutrition principles and making common nutrition mistakes that are preventing them from reaching their goals.

Some common nutrition mistakes that they make are

  • paying attention to calories but not food quality,
  • paying attention to food quality but not calories,
  • overconsuming natural sugars,
  • undereating protein,
  • avoiding all forms of fat,
  • thinking that one “Bad” meal destroys everything
  • and so on…

To overcome such mistakes FitSciGuru Dr Gagan Jaiswal introduced his scientific diet and fitness programs.

Fitness Science Guru Dr Gagan Jaiswal says :

  • Instead of opting for fat-free, low-fat and non-fat options, opt for natural fats such as butter, red meat, dairy and animal fats
  • Consume them in appropriate amounts, and avoid the man-made fats instead.
  • You should consume a source of protein, animal or plant-based protein, at every meal. it helps to keep you fullest the longest.
  • It is best to consume more fresh fruit than concentrated sources (such as dried fruit and fruit juice), and also consume more vegetables than fruit, which generally contain less sugar and more fibre per serving, to help mitigate the damaging effects of all forms of sugar.
  • Over-consumption of whole foods over time can still impede health goals, especially when it comes to weight loss.
  • Instead of only counting calories, start counting the chemicals and ingredients in your food, and focus on food quality over quantity alone.
  • People do not realise that the goal of eating well is about progress and consistency, not perfection.
  • Instead of beating yourself up, enjoy your treats, move on, and then get back to real food etc.

A gold standard diet plan is a plan which is sustainable, sustainable and sustainable.
